The creation of a wood floor, and the finding and hauling of a railroad tie to create the feeling of inside wood versus outside wood on bare feet. Sycamore twigs collected from childhood home and stripped of bark. My own bedding, rolled and tied and set in a platform sized to accommodate a body curled up to sleep.
